Print Information

The decision on which paper to employ is of vital importance to the overall look of the final image. Equally the print must be durable and fade resistant. There is an abundance of fine art papers with varying finishes and tonal qualitites. For all limited edition work we use Hahnemuhle fine art papers.

These are cotton papers with a subtle soft texture and a beautiful milk white tone. They meet and exceed any museum standard set out for giclee printing. All of the printing is produced in house using state of the art printers with archival inks. Estimated display life is between 85-110 years. Canvasses are also available for selected images and are created to the same exacting standards using conservation materials.

Presentation

All limited edition prints are mounted using archival materials or alternatively they can be float mounted . Float mounting is a contemporary method of presentation which is minimalist and shows off the artwork without any visual distractions. The print has an appropriate margin around the image and a torn ripped edge giving an attractive artistic look . The paper is then fixed to archival mountboard which is then ready for framing . If float mounting is preferred please contact us upon ordering.

All prints are signed and titled below the image in pencil. Contemporary frames are now available in oak /black/mahogany or white frames
